Check an Eircode
Type the first three characters or the whole thing. Either works.
What fits
Two questions, and the second matters more than the first.
Soft things and well-packaged things are fine. The test is whether a knock would break it. A wine bottle is thick, single and made to be carried, so it travels perfectly well. A mirror, a picture frame or a wine glass is thin and wide, and it does not.
What fails is rarely the whole item, it is one part of it. A lamp is fine until you count the shade and the bulb.
Goes
Does not go
The crate settles the first question: if it fits in the crate, it is the right size. The second is a judgement, and if you are making one, ring us rather than guessing. We would far rather have that call than the other one.
A rider arriving to something they cannot carry safely is a wasted run for us and a disappointed customer for you. Thirty seconds on the phone settles it, and we would much rather have that call than the other one.
How far
Twenty-five Eircode areas. This is the same list our own booking system checks against, so what you see here is what our riders actually cover.

How to put it to your customers
Shorter is better. Nobody reads a list of postcodes, and the checkout does the work anyway.
That is all most people need. The checkout will only offer same-day to an address we can actually reach, so nobody has to work out whether they qualify.
One sentence, and it is accurate. Send them this page if they want to check their own address.
Avoid a distance, like "within 10 km". It sounds precise and it is wrong in both directions: it takes in places we do not reach and leaves out places we do. Dalkey is further from town than Tallaght, and we cover both.
